The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission into MBA and allied programs at various business schools in India. Recognized by the Ministry of Education, it serves as a crucial gateway for management aspirants.
1. Key Features of MAT
- Frequency: Conducted four times a year - February, May, September, and December.
- Modes Available: CBT (Computer-Based Test), PBT (Paper-Based Test), IBT (Internet-Based Test).
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes).
- Total Questions: 200 multiple-choice questions.
2. Eligibility Criteria

- Results are typically declared within three weeks after the exam.
- MAT scores are valid for one year for most institutes.
